Our Story

The Lantz family has been raising black angus cattle for 3 generations on Valley Meadows Farm. Our Grandfather, Ernie Lantz with the help of his father Benjamin bought the farm in 1952. It started as a small farm with a passion for raising high-quality black angus beef.  The Farm is now run by Ernie’s son Dave, and his two grandsons Tyler and Kent. Over the years we have expanded to a larger operation but have still maintained that passion for raising high-quality black angus beef. We have become more deeply involved in every aspect of the process. From maintaining the highest standard of animal welfare to making sure every customer leaves the experience satisfied and returning for more.

What Our Customers Say

"Valley Meadows beef is by far the best quality of beef I have experienced. After purchasing beef packages from 3 different local farms, the Lantz family's beef was by far a leaner and better-tasting beef. I highly recommend trying it and experiencing it for yourself. You will not be disappointed."

Feb 2023 - Angel P.

"I can't recommend Valley Meadows enough. Their Beef is second to none! We have been buying 1/4-1/2 steers for years!! We've used several different farms until we found this one and are going into year 5 of ordering beef from this farm and every year we are so happy with it. The meat is lean and tastes great, but mostly we appreciate that it is very consistent year after year. The butcher they work with is very clean, the beef is packaged nicely and stays fresh! I usually order with Tyler and communication is great. We recommend friends and family to them all the time! You will be a customer for life once you try them out!"
